Klasha Joins The First Fund Portfolio

First Fund is delighted to announce its investment in Klasha, and its co-founders, Jessica Anuna and Oloyede Oladimeji.

Klasha is a technology company founded to make online consumer goods more accessible to customers across Africa. It aims to provide consumers in Africa frictionless access to the goods they want regardless of their geographic location, primarily by allowing Africans from different countries to pay in their own native currency instead of paying in US Dollars.

“We're excited to work with First Fund to build Klasha and the team's enthusiasm about the opportunity of FinTech and payments in Africa,'' commented Jessica Anuna, CEO, Klasha.
“Klasha is a big FinTech and Ecommerce disruptor targeting the often-overlooked African market” said First Fund founder Samarth Chandola, “Africa is poised to create the next wave of Unicorns, and Klasha is the perfect candidate to tap into the relatively underutilized, multi-billion dollar African online market.”
